We made history in Brussels!

There will be decisions and measures on large carnivores.

Our goal is to make large carnivores an asset for humans, not a threat!

In the last weeks of the Belgian presidency, it convened the representatives of the Member States, with me as the main rapporteur as rapporteur for the Committee of the Regions.

It was good to hear that what we had produced was a professional report, because in the European Union there should be no difference between country and country, human life should count!

This is the second time that the report and the role of the rapporteur have been raised to such a high level.

Everyone takes us seriously, everyone gives us their opinion!

I am proud of my team, of their perseverance!

Thank you to the international, analytical and communications team at the County Council who have worked hard behind the scenes all the time. To the Management Executive for providing the logistics, driving me home from the airport most nights and bringing me home at night.

Last but not least, I would like to thank the experts for standing by, but also former Minister for the Environment, Water and Forestry Barna Tánczos, the game managers, mayors and deputy mayors for their help.
