During the meeting, I highlighted the following points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the context of the post-2027 multiannual financial framework and cohesion policy, it is crucial to prioritize support for rural regions, particularly those facing the challenges of coexisting with large carnivors in mountainous areas.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">EU funding should be directed towards the development of accessible and effective technologies that assist farmers and local authorities in protecting biodiversity, while supporting extensive livestock farming.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Simplifying financial instruments and ensuring flexibility will also be key to empowering local and regional authorities, allowing them to manage territorial challenges effectively.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors will enhance investments in biodiversity protection and promote regional development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On September 17th, the Committee for Territorial Cohesion Policy and the EU Budget of the European Committee of the Regions met in Oulu, Finland.
