{"id":1045,"date":"2021-10-25T06:22:10","date_gmt":"2021-10-25T06:22:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cor.borbolycsaba.ro\/en\/?page_id=1045"},"modified":"2021-10-25T06:22:10","modified_gmt":"2021-10-25T06:22:10","slug":"sedec","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cor.borbolycsaba.ro\/en\/comissions\/sedec\/","title":{"rendered":"SEDEC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Commission for Social Policy, Education, Employment, Research and Culture (SEDEC)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The remit of the Commission for Social Policy, Education, Employment, Research and Culture (SEDEC) covers the following fields:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>\u200b\u200bAudio-visual Industry and Media Technologies<\/li>\n<li>Artificial Intelligence<\/li>\n<li>Bio-economy<\/li>\n<li>Culture and Cultural Diversity and Creativity<\/li>\n<li>Demographic Change<\/li>\n<li>Education and Training (including Lifelong Learning)<\/li>\n<li>Employment Policy<\/li>\n<li>Equality<\/li>\n<li>EU Information Society, including Trans-European ICT Networks<\/li>\n<li>European Pillar of Social Rights, including Social Policy, Social Protection<\/li>\n<li>Innovation, Research and Technology and smart specialisation<\/li>\n<li>Labour Mobility<\/li>\n<li>Multilingualism and Promotion of Minority Languages<\/li>\n<li>Social Economy<\/li>\n<li>Sport<\/li>\n<li>Youth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, SEDEC manages the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cor.europa.eu\/en\/our-work\/Pages\/knowledge-exchange-platform.aspx\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/cor.europa.eu\/en\/our-work\/Pages\/knowledge-exchange-platform.aspx&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1635226939845000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGqHaWkEBYFjDlk7zVkVRw1btuIjQ\">Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP)<\/a>, which is a form of cooperation with the\u00a0European Commission&#8217;s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation. The platform seeks the exchange of new R&amp;I solutions and best practices, by organizing seminars in Brussels and peer-to-peer events in regions, or hosting showcasing events. In the framework of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cor.europa.eu\/en\/events\/Documents\/SEDEC\/Action_Plan_EC_CoR_November_2020.pdf\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/cor.europa.eu\/en\/events\/Documents\/SEDEC\/Action_Plan_EC_CoR_November_2020.pdf&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1635226939845000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEEuP0bTUb70qmNqPEhrxIXjwYMLg\">Joint Action Plan<\/a>\u00a0adopted in November 2020 with Commissioner Gabriel&#8217;s services, this project has been upgraded to a strategic level.
